Product Owner - AI Applications for Personalization (m/w/d)

The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions. As a product owner for AI applications in the field of personalization, you are the driving force behind the development and improvement of our AI products. You define the vision for products that raise our customers' shopping experience to a new level – from personalised recommendations to dynamic pricing to individual offers. You work at the interface of business, data science and software development and translate customer needs into first-class technical solutions. Product vision and strategy: You develop and communicate a clear product vision and a coordinated roadmap for our existing AI and data applications. Backlog Management: You are responsible for creating, prioritizing and maintaining the Product Backlog. You form meaningful and understandable user stories and acceptance criteria for the developer team. Stakeholder Management: You act as a central communication interface and are confident about a complex environment with diverse interests. Proactively manage the expectations of internal and external stakeholders (e.g. from marketing, sales, e-commerce, IT and management), resolve target conflicts and secure a common commitment to product strategy Project management and control: You are responsible for planning, controlling and monitoring project progress, timelines and budgets and regularly report them to the stakeholders. Cooperation with the development team: As an integral part of an agile (Scrum/Kanban) development team, you work daily with Data Scientists, AI experts and software developers to ensure the implementation of the product vision. Data-based decisions: You analyze the performance of your products using A/B tests, KPIs and user feedback to make informed decisions for further development. Market observation: You continuously test the market, identify new trends in AI, machine learning and personalization in retail, and derive innovative product ideas.

Experience: You have several years of professional experience as Product Owner, ideally in e-commerce, retail or in a technology-driven environment. Project Management Competence: You bring multi-year experience as (partial) project manager and master classic and agile project management methods to effectively control timelines, budgets and resources. AI affinity: You have a strong understanding of the basics of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analysis as well as their influence on software development projects. Agile competence: You are versed in agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban and know how to successfully lead and motivated agile teams. Analytical skills: You think data-norientated, can quickly capture complex relationships and clearly present them for creating decision templates. Communication strength: You are an excellent communicator (flowing in German and English) and can communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at eye level. JOBV1_EN
