Head of Technology / CTO (m/f/d)

Strategic and operational overall responsibility for a team of around 45 employees in the development of electronic devices Technology & strategy Development, development and consistent implementation of the technology and product roadmap over the entire product life cycle definition of product group strategy, architecture planks and make-or-buy decisions; Strengthening and securing the international market and technology position in the core markets Development Target-proof management of development performance across all product groups by time, cost, quality and resource use Responsibility for customer-specific solutions, system integration and series control at high production depth Development of structures, processes and tools in the development environment (KI, Systems Engineering, Stage Gate, Agile) Scouting and evaluation of technological trends (digitalization, IoT, communication technology) taking into account regulatory requirements Interfaces & External Effect Close coordination with product management, (international) sales and production Representation of the company with strategic customers, partners, trade fairs and specialist bodies Final decision responsibility for critical technical conflicts and conflicts between product groups

Completed engineering or natural science studies (e.g. electrical engineering, technical computer science or comparable) Multiannual experience in a comparable technical leadership in the environment of complex embedded systems (electronics, firmware and software) Funded understanding of modern product development across the entire development process – from idea to series transfer Detectable experience in the leadership of interdisciplinary development organisations and in the further development of structures, processes and working methods High technological competence in the field of electronics and embedded software and the ability to evaluate technical decisions at architectural level Entrepreneurial thinking personality with strategic vision, design will and pragmatic implementation competence Willingness to clear takeover of cost- & profit management Communication strength, persuasiveness and joy in winning leaders and employees for common goals Enthusiasm for technology, innovation and product development and interest in actively shaping the technological future of a medium-sized company. International experience and knowledge of English
