The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS-Hof Bockum (in the district of Lüneburg) is an institution of the SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. for the social and professional integration of adult people with mental disabilities. For about 100 people there are differentiated forms of housing and work opportunities in the recognised workshop for disabled people.

For our SOS-Hof Bockum we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in parttime (30 hours/Where)

Together with a small team of three colleagues, you will accompany people with assistance needs in everyday life. You help the residents to make their everyday life as self-determined as possible and actively participate in social life. In doing so, you take on educational, organizational and economic responsibility within the housing group and contribute to the individual support and promotion of the residents. Support and assistance from seven to eight people with assistance needs in everyday life Support for residents in all life-structural areas Promoting self-determination, independence and social participation Design of a structured and life-oriented everyday life in the housing group Planning, implementation and documentation of individual assistance planning and target agreements Takeover of organisational and economic tasks within the housing group Cooperation in the team and participation in meetings and professional exchange Ready to work on weekends and holidays conscientious implementation of protection concepts and protection guidelines
