As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. You will gain insight into the subject of weather-dependent free line operation and support colleagues in the field of electromagnetic fields and inductively affecting high-voltage line systems. A variety of tasks such as creating tables for the development and presentation of results, performing calculations, and creating presentations. You prepare scientific topics and participate in the creation of guidelines and knowledge transfer within the team. You have the opportunity to support project management topics such as creating schedules. You actively shape the energy transition of tomorrow and make a significant contribution to current social challenges.

As an immatricated student (w/m/d) of engineering or natural sciences, ideally of electrical engineering, energy technology, physics or mathematics, you bring the appropriate technical foundation. You are safe in working with MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. First experience in programming and script languages such as MATLAB, Python, VBA and WinField could be gathered. A reliable, structured and self-sponsored way of working is counting on your strengths – and you like to work in new topics. You plan your student activity with a duration of at least 6 months and a duration of 10-20 hours.
