Processing of energy policy and economic policy issues and association positioning with a special focus on federal policy debates with targets for climate protection, heat, sector coupling and renewable energies and hydrogen Observation and analysis of legal regulations and developments in the energy industry and assessment of the impact on the business of Hamburger Energiewerke Development of energy-economic scenarios for the further development of regulation, taking into account economic and ecological aspects Initiation, monitoring and evaluation of relevant studies and research projects Implementation and cooperation in special tasks for the strategic development of the company Preparation of opinions, background papers and presentations

Complete Master's degree in economics –, law – or political science or comparable degree, ideally with the focus on energy/climate Professional experience in the energy industry, preferably with experience in association work and good knowledge of the energy industry Expertise in the regulatory environment of the German energy transition Know-how about political structures and processes in Germany and Europe Very good English skills in word and writing Communication-strong personality with diplomacy and negotiation skills
