Production Manager Rubber Processing (m/w/d)

Our client is a medium-sized company with around 250 employees in the Nienburg district, which has been working in the rubber processing industry for many years. With a broad customer base from the automotive sector, industry and other industries, the company convinces by quality, reliability and long-term partnerships.

In the course of a further structural development, it is possible to assume responsibility as a production manager (m/w/d) for the three-layer production area with about 140 employees. You assume the overall responsibility for the three-layer production sector and ensure that production plans are implemented efficiently and on time. You coordinate workflows, define priorities and ensure smooth production, taking into account the highest quality standards. You determine the personnel requirements for optimal implementation of the processes and customer requirements and delegate tasks & responsibilities to the shift managers. You monitor the inventory and coordinate regular department meetings to keep an overview of the progress of production. You analyze production deviations, identify waste causes and develop sustainable solutions for process optimization. You will process 8-D reports on complaints and implement the necessary corrective measures. You shall ensure compliance with the corporate guidelines in the areas of safety, quality (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO) and the defined annual targets.

You have a completed technical study, e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production technology or a comparable qualification, and have first leadership experience as team leader, shift manager or production manager. Ideally, you have collected your previous production experience in the automotive supply industry and are familiar with the relevant processes and requirements. You address problems analytically, think solution-oriented, act entrepreneurially and can motivate and develop your employees. You communicate clearly and legally, solve challenges efficiently and work independently as well as in the team. You have very good English knowledge in word and writing and bring a pronounced IT affinity.
