A part-time post in the area of museum education must be fixed at the city of Menden (Sauerland):

(m/w/d)

The body shall first be occupied within the framework of a representation of pregnancy until 31.12.2025. It is then intended to continue employment within the framework of a parental leave.

The area of responsibility shall include:

• target-group-oriented demand determination, planning, design and implementation of museum educational offers and offers of cultural education
• Development and support of educational partnerships and special projects within the framework of cultural education
• Planning, design, implementation and settlement of cultural events
• Tasks in the field of museum education
• Administrative activities of museum education
• Press and public relations

It is mainly used in the industrial museum Gut Rödinghausen.

Extensions and changes to the subject area are expressly reserved.

You bring:

• a completed study of museum science/museumology (Bachelor) or in the subjects history (possibly with a focus on technical, economic or social history), art history, pedagogy, folk studies or a comparable degree

Further we expect:

• knowledge and experience in the design and implementation of museum and cultural educational offers or corresponding teaching units
• safe handling of information and communication techniques
• pronounced planning and organizational ability, ability to work on a team and project
• Innovation ability, initiative and communication skills
• above-average operational readiness
