The digitalization and IT service centre (DITZ) at THW is looking for reinforcement for the location of the Brandenburg/Havel training centre – in presence on site. It offers a powerful IT organization with around 160 IT experts who are networked in specialized teams across the country and are at your side with comprehensive know-how. At the training center, as an IT specialist, you also take over the function as a permanent contact person for the Campus IT as well as the Digital Teaching – well and in the long term can be planned even outside the usual times and on weekends.

Further development of Campus IT: You actively shape the IT landscape in the training center, implement strategic requirements and drive the continuous optimization of IT and media technology. Operation & Administration: You ensure safe, stable and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure – from installation and configuration to monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting – on campus and in the field of national or international courses. You manage central systems and domains, manage permissions and optimize system performance, data backup and communication solutions. Support & Enablement Digital Teaching: You provide IT solutions for digital teaching, supervise the teaching hall technology and specialty software and support teachers in a practical way – even during ongoing operations. Projects & quality assurance: You accompany pilot projects, analyse weaknesses, develop improvements and ensure sustainable quality through documentation and standardization. Training & cooperation: You work closely with teaching staff and internal interfaces, create practical documents and carry out instructions and training.

A completed vocational training with a minimum of 3 years of regular training from IT, for example as a specialist system integration (m/w/d) or other completed training with a minimum of 3 years of regular training combined with at least three years of proven professional experience in IT In addition, you have: Willingness to participate in the Brandenburg/Havel site German language skills (level C1) English language skills (level B2) Very good team capability Wide expertise and interest in continuing training Improvisation and pronounced solution orientation Diversity competence Basic willingness to occasional and usually well-planable missions willingness to provide services outside the usual working hours and to be accessible (e.g. in the case of use), to cooperate in the management and coordination staff (LuK) and to carry out service or services Use clothes for specific occasions The agreement to carry out a safety review under the Security Audit Act (SÜG) is a prerequisite for an application.
