Operations Manager - Produktion (m/w/d)

Our Production Department is the heart of the supply chain behind the digital used car purchase at AUTO1 – from the professional processing and repair of the vehicles to delivery to our private customers via glass truck or to delivery in one of our pick-up branches. We work fast, data-driven and efficient – but we want more! With innovative production processes and state-of-the-art technology, our goal is to permanently change the used car market for private customers and set new standards. Become part of our team as a project manager and actively shape the future of digital automotive trade by questioning existing processes, identifying optimization potentials and convincing your negotiation skills and expertise. Work closely with our team at the Berlin headquarters and the relevant interfaces throughout Germany to realise our vision of a seamless, transparent and customer-oriented used car preparation.

Continuous process optimization: You analyze existing Refurbishment Processes in our Production Centers, identify potential improvements along the value chain (e.g. vehicle processing, quality control, logistics) and develop and implement autonomous measures to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality. Construction and development of infrastructure: You plan and accompany the expansion of our production sites, coordinate multi-site projects for standardization and work closely with operations, logistics and facility management for smooth integration of new technologies. Demand and cost-effectiveness analyses: You will start detailed analyses of the need for technical equipment, evaluate investments in cost-effectiveness and support the selection and procurement of new equipment in close coordination with purchasing. Implementation of new software solutions: You are responsible for the introduction of digital tools for recording and evaluating production codes, optimizing the visualization of the production flow through suitable software and creating interfaces to existing systems for a continuous flow of information.

You have a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable degree course You have affinity for entrepreneurship, digital business models and/or the automotive industry You have an analytical, systematic way of working, think process-oriented and bring a high degree of independence with You are result-oriented and keep a cool head in analytical thinking processes that allow you to improve and simplify processes You have a high degree of flexibility and readiness to travel to implement projects on site Flowing German and English skills are a must-have!
