You coordinate all the ship's operations in the German ports and always keep an overview of all processes. During the rest period, you take care of the crew – this includes: the agreement of medical appointments, visa requests or the organisation of crew changes and transfers. As part of the agent activity, you will visit the ships and perform tasks such as the transfer of bunker samples or Cash to Master. The ordering of tugs, makers and lotses is also your responsibility. You forward the loading lists to planner and terminal in time and send hazardous goods, reefer and OOG lists to all relevant points. The notification of hazardous goods to the authorities is carried out by you in a timely and reliable manner. In addition, you will provide all relevant start-up data in the internal system (VCI) so that the ship billing can take place smoothly.

You have a completed commercial training – ideally as a shipping businessman, a merchant for forwarding and logistics services or a study with a focus on logistics – and you have already gained first professional experience. With your communication strength and your structured, independent way of working, you convince in everyday life. Dealing with different contacts is fun and you bring the necessary flexibility and a solution-oriented way of thinking. You are ready to work with your teammates at night, weekends or holidays – and that in the long term. Very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile.
