You advise and support the Institute in all matters of occupational, environmental and health protection. You create and update risk assessments as well as operating, work and process instructions and thus contribute to the continuous further development of our safety standards in the sense of the Fraunhofer specifications. You organize and carry out training and instruction and sensitize our employees for safety-related topics. Regular workplace and laboratory visits ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements, including fire protection requirements. The organisation, implementation and logging of the meetings of the Safety Committee is also one of your tasks. You work closely with an occupational physician, public authorities and accident insurance bodies, and also coordinate the first aid in operation.

Complete study in technical or scientific fields Ideally training for safety at work (SiFa) or comparable knowledge in occupational safety and fire protection officers Practical experience in handling hazardous materials and waste management Safe handling of software-based systems in occupational safety or risk assessment desirable An independent, structured and service-oriented operation Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing
