The Energy Department of the Office for Environmental Protection is technically responsible and coordinates the implementation of the energy and climate protection concept adopted by the municipal council with the aim of making the state capital of Stuttgart climate-neutral as soon as possible. The digitization of the processes, the further development of the data infrastructure and the monitoring of success is a central interface function.

They are responsible for supporting and expanding data transmission in the energy control system for urban properties, including the integration of building and process control technology They accompany and design the digitalization of processes and data structures within the energy department and monitor their implementation They work with the development of solutions for optimal adjustment of measurement, control and control technology as well as for further operational optimization in urban properties to reduce energy and water consumption They monitor the consumption of urban property using IT-supported systems and actively contribute to the development of energy and cost monitoring They develop measures to save energy and water and take care of the implementation

Engineer (Bachelor/FH/TU/BA) in the fields of electrical and energy technology or related courses or other employees (electromaster/in or Technicians in the field of electrical or energy technology or related financial statements) who carry out corresponding activities on the basis of equivalent skills and experience (for foreign financial statements the submission of a state recognition in Germany is required) well-founded expertise in SPS and MSR Qualification as an electrical power in the low voltage range (up to 1000 V AC) sound knowledge of energy technology the ability to work quickly and independently in complex tasks and processes and to represent the interests of the department good expressability in German and good knowledge in the usual IT applications
