IT Security Officer (m/f/d)

You develop, implement and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to BSI standards (200-1 to 200-3) and ISO/IEC 27001. In your area of responsibility, you work closely in the team and contribute to design and further develop IT architectures and standards. You make sure that security requirements are taken into account and anchored at an early stage. Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. HITSiG, NIS-2, ISLL-Hessen, GDPR) is monitored as part of your activity and updates the security concepts, guidelines and processes. The creation of risk analyses and the introduction of risk mitigation measures are also included. You advise internal and external stakeholders professionally (e.g. CISO, Ressort Information Security Officer, HZD customers) and agree closely with specialist departments, bodies (e.g. AK Information Security, Control Panel HZD) and external partners.

A successfully completed academic degree (Diplom (University) or Master) of IT Security / IT Security, Computer Science or an IT-related subject. At least two years of relevant professional practice in operational IT security in a complex technical environment, ideally in public administration. Advanced knowledge in networks, technical components and operating systems as well as good knowledge of standard IT security standards (e.g. ISO 27x series, BSI IT basic protection). Experience in its implementation is desirable. Diversity competency – Valuable handling of diversity and promotion of an inclusive working environment. Very good German knowledge (orally & in writing). Further desirable are: Knowledge in log and vulnerability management.
