IT Service Manager* in the mainframe infrastructure Place of work: Frankfurt am Main Job: Full-time (part-time is possible in principle), unlimited Job ID: 2025_0200_02 Your new team will provide the mainframe infrastructure for national payment and statistics applications as well as for the ESZB EMIP platform.

As IT Service Manager*in, you take responsibility for the design, control and development of the IT Service Management processes for the mainframe components nationally and within the European Market Infrastructure Platform (EMIP). Together with your team, you will make an elementary contribution to ensuring the functionality of the complete IT service management process chain for the mainframe infrastructure of the Bundesbank. They define and adapt the IT-Service Management processes that overlap the European central banks, design and manage their implementation. They design the EMIP Process Framework and are responsible for the implementation of the Mainframe Infrastructure architecture and process map according to the requirements and best practices from ITIL. Your tasks include the comprehensive management and control of the processes of the mainframe infrastructure in the areas of service design, service transition and service operations. They represent the mainframe infrastructure sector in national and international bodies and working groups and introduce the interests of the Bundesbank.

Master or equivalent degree of (economic)informatics or (economic)mathematics or a degree course with a focus on information technology. Very good knowledge and professional experience in IT Service Management and Process Management Good knowledge and practical experience in the development and design of IT processes ideally in the international context Good knowledge of regulatory requirements in the IT context (e.g. basic BSI protection, IT security) Knowledge of specialist software (e.g. BPM Suite, MS Visio, LeanIX) Knowledge of mainframe architectures is desirable High social and intercultural competence, as well as ability to enforce negotiation skills and problem-solving competence Own responsible and result-oriented performance of new tasks Very good communication skills in German and English
