IT Business Application Consultant Manufacturing (m/f/d)

At GEA in Oelde we develop and manufacture state-of-the-art centrifuges and separation technologies on an 85,000 m2 production site. Our solutions – including separators, decanters and complete system solutions – enable efficient separation of liquids and solids and support a wide range of industries worldwide.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated IT Business Application Constulant (m/w/d) that helps us to ensure the best possible process support in the field of production.

Support of the P2P workstream within our global SAP transformation project T360 Analysis, design and implementation of solutions for production within our ERP landscape (SAP-based) for different projects and change requirements Creating requirement analyses and technical specifications as well as configuration of solutions according to the specific requirements of our customers Planning and implementation of training for key users and end users Support of various business applications and processes in the logistics sector, including processing of incidents/changes within the agreed SLAs Escalation management according to defined processes and coordination between different stakeholders and team members Exchange of knowledge within the team as well as support in the development of skills and improving the quality of results Support in the introduction of new versions and updates

Studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in SAP consulting, ideally in machine and plant engineering Comprehensive expertise in the implementation and configuration of production processes with SAP (SAP PP, ideally complemented by PP/DS and aATP) Experience gained in integration with other SAP modules (MM, EWM, WM, SD, FICO) Experience in the MES area is desirable Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills High customer orientation and excellent communication skills Ability to work both independently and in the team Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German in word and writing
