Enabler for smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips

As an IT infrastructure specialist at the ZEISS Group's Semiconductor Mask Solutions business unit at the Jena site, you work in a cross-product team and provide cross-product IT infrastructure. In particular, the following important tasks include: independent development of concepts, tasks and constructive solutions for PC systems taking into account functional, IT security, safety and standards relevant and economic aspects

SAP product maintenance, in particular creation of document and configuration management as well as change

Set, maintain and further develop a Common ToolPc platform

With the team, they independently conduct investigations on the function, arrangement and design of operating systems, databases, drivers, application software and other components.

You carry out analyses, create hotfixes based on the results and execute them

They provide the availability of the infrastructure including Licence management (including by monitoring) safe

They take care of the essential aspects of network topology (layers, zones, Cisco foundations, ...)

They remain autonomous in the process of progress in hardware technologies to support strategic decisions

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering Informatics, Economic Engineering or Comparative Education in Computer Science (System Integration)

strong technical background with deep understanding of IT systems, GPU/CPU technologies and related software ecosystems

Willingness or interest to acquire and expand knowledge in current IT skills topics

Knowledge of popular cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure...)

extensive Linux knowledge or patching and compiling Linux are of advantage

Experience in agile working environment (e.g. Scrum) is a plus

high independence and reliability in operation

very good German (C1-C2) and English (B2-C1) in word and writing
