In the HZD CSIRT team, you are responsible for the assessment and treatment of current vulnerabilities, cyber threats and security incidents. You perform automated and targeted vulnerability scans, prepare the information according to target groups and track the fix. In addition, monitor and evaluate security data and support the further development of IT security processes. You develop and implement measures to protect sensitive data in order to ensure the security and integrity of IT systems in the Hesse country.

You have a completed relevant higher education of computer science or a comparable degree course or you have comparable knowledge. You have several years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of IT security centres and cyber threats. Ideally within the framework of activities in a CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) or CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) or SOC (Security Operation Center). You have good knowledge of security requirements according to the BSI basic protection or ISO 27001 as well as IT system architectures in the area of hardware, operating systems, networks and specialist applications. You have good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least C1 level) and a good understanding of German and English-language texts as well as sources of information security and cyber defence. You bring analytical thinking power that enables you to penetrate problems quickly, develop independent solutions and work into complex topics. Cooperation, communication skills and results-oriented action complete your profile. You are ready to participate in readiness.

A successful security check by the HZD is a prerequisite for an adjustment.
