Process Automation Specialist (w∣m∣d) - Focus on Input Management, OCR & AI Technologies

You play a key role in expanding our intelligent document and input management landscape – from the processing of in-depth information (input management with OCR) to the integration of modern AI and LLM technologies for efficient dark processing. As part of your activity, you will ensure the stable operation of our existing automation solutions. These include configuration, monitoring, optimization and incident management along the entire process chain in input management (Capture → Classification → Extraction → Transfer). In addition, you continuously develop our AI-based solutions, improve extraction and classification results and implement new requirements together with the specialist areas. In this context, you train and optimise AI models for document recognition, develop validation, plausibility and decision logic, and support further applications such as e.g. fraud detection and ff automation of manual activities. Furthermore, you evaluate, design and implement new AI and LLM-based processing solutions as well as low/no code technologies in a hybrid architecture landscape (regulated + ML/LLM) and use these technologies to efficiently implement and improve automated processes in day-to-day operations. You work cross-functionally with departments, business analyst:inside and operating operations and actively participate in the further development of our automation strategy.

You have successfully completed your studies (e.g. economics, business informatics, computer science, etc.). You have well-founded experience in the operation and further development of input management and OCR solutions. In addition, you have very good knowledge of AI/ML-based document processing and a strong affinity for new technologies such as LLMs, Prompt Design and AI services. In addition, you bring in practice in the connection and integration of AI services via APIs and have a strong understanding of system architectures, process management and automation. First experiences with low/no code tools (e.g. Camunda), BPMN 2.0, DMN modelling and FEEL are advantageous; Ideally, you also have contact points with interface technologies such as robotics. You recognize automation potentials and are able to analyze processes in detail and derive potential for improvement. Insurance-specific know-how as well as IT skills, for example in Python, SQL or Java, are desirable. In addition, you are convinced by communication and team skills as well as a proactive, independent and structured way of working. You have a pronounced analytical and networked way of thinking in order to understand complex relationships.
