Research Associate specializing in Human-Computer Interaction

For about 15 years, we have been at the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences in the Lower Rhine for an innovative, interdisciplinary and international training of young people from all over the world. We offer a total of 37 bachelor and master's degree courses at the four interdisciplinary faculties – technology and bionics, life sciences, society and economics, as well as communication and the environment. More than 90 partner universities in 38 countries stand for the international cooperation strength of the Rhein-Waal University. Thus, the university is rooted in the EUREGIOn and connected to the world. The CoSiMo project (concierge system for inclusive mobility) develops future mobility solutions between individual and public transport. The focus is on digital assistance services that support passengers before, during and after the journey and make mobility more comfortable, safer and more attractive. The University of Applied Sciences Rhein‐Waal focuses on the scientific analysis of these services. This ranges from conceptual development to simulations to realistic studies. The aim is to identify design principles that promote acceptance, usability and added value for different user groups. The interdisciplinary connection of computer science, psychology and interaction design forms the central basis for this.
