case-accompanying coding of the stationary and semi-stationary treatment using digital patient files Review of the appropriate and complete documentation of the course of treatment in the medical file Duration control in cooperation with the release management Case processing and case closure to ensure a timely and proper settlement with the health insurance companies formal and content review of § 301 data in compliance with legal requirements Preparation of medical reasons for health insurance requests in consultation with the department doctors Duration control and timely processing of medical service testing procedures Participation in implementing new requirements in the field of medical documentation Development of internal communication between medical and administrative areas

exam. Care specialist, e.g. nurses or Health and nursing (w/m/d) with further education on the codierassist (w/m/d) or willingness to complete this training multi-year hospital experience desirable at least good computer skills, ideally experience with Orbis Knowledge of the DRG system safe handling of the classification systems ICD 10 and OPS, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the German Code Directives in the current version Organisational skills, high sense of responsibility, readiness to learn and self-initiative Teamability, economic and process-oriented thinking and acting sovereign, friendly and professional appearance
