Linux System Administrator (m/f/d)

Together with your team, you are responsible for the trouble-free operation of our Linux servers. Enter and develop our configuration management and deployment processes with Puppet and Ansible. In addition, you are responsible for our virtualization environments (ESXi/Proxmox), monitoring (Zabbix) and our backup solutions. The operation of the network, the firewalls and the colocation infrastructure (network and hardware) is also part of your responsibility. Together with your colleagues, you are analysing disorders, developing sustainable solutions and optimizing existing systems. You bring your own ideas and actively shape the further development of our infrastructure. In addition, you take responsibility for technical topics and projects and support colleagues as a specialist in technical issues. You are delighted to share knowledge, advance technical issues and develop sustainable solutions together with the team.

You have successfully completed your training as a specialist in system integration (m/w/d) or a comparable training. In addition, you bring several years of professional experience as a Linux system administrator (m/w/d), ideally from a medium-sized company. You have knowledge of the installation and operation of Linux servers, databases, web and mail servers. Experience in the operation of a cloud or Web application platform, configuration management and project management complete your profile. You work structured, solution-oriented and take responsibility. You have the ability to advance technical topics independently and successfully bring together various participants. Ideally, you have already gained first experience in the professional coordination or guidance of colleagues or want to develop perspective in this direction. You can communicate clearly, work in the team and keep an overview in challenging situations. You have a class B licence.
