The Malteser Waldkrankenhaus St. Marien is a hospital of the first stage of care and also operates in the urological area (university) maximum care as well as in orthopaedics, cardiology and gastroenterology. Around 35,000 patients are supplied annually in eight departments and two document divisions as well as the Geriatric Rehabilitation Department. The associated Malteser Institute for Health Care offers 120 training places for young people. Geriatric rehabilitation is a special form of rehabilitation that takes into account the peculiarities of older people. The aim is to restore the greatest possible self-employment and to avoid need for care in older people. The activating support of patients is at the heart of nursing tasks, less diagnostics and medical treatment with medicines. • In the interdisciplinary team they receive and promote the independence of our patients in their life activities
• You take care of the basic and treatment care of our patients
