Our trainee program offers you the opportunity to gain a comprehensive insight into Baader Bank's securities trading and to get to know it from A to Z. You will first complete the trader exam and then run the following stations:

Middle Office: Creates the interface between trade and back office and plays a key role in supporting and monitoring trade activities. Fund Services – Buyside Trading Desk: Represents and monitors fund mandates and implements all portfolio management processes within the framework of legal and contractual requirements. Orders are accepted in all asset classes, checked and executed via brokers, stock exchanges or counterparties. Brokerage: Provides worldwide access to the most important trading venues for our customers in different asset classes such as shares, pensions, ETFs, funds and derivatives. Market Making: Continuously adjusts purchase and sale offers for securities and ensures the necessary liquidity in the market through its own trade.

These stations are complemented by operations in the areas of Capital Markets, Client Service Group and Sales. In addition, you will spend a week at one of our foreign locations in Zurich or the UK. With a training and training concept specially developed for the trainee program, you also have the opportunity to develop yourself personally and professionally. During the entire program, a mentor will be put to you, who will accompany you, support and promote you.

You have a successfully completed Bachelor or Master of the discipline BWL, VWL, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable degree course, whereby your degree to program start is not older than 18 months. Alternatively, you will bring a successfully completed training to the bank merchant (m/w/d) with relevant professional experience. Ideally, you could already gain first practical experience in the financial sector, e.g. in the form of internships or student work. In addition, you have very good knowledge of the current MS Office products (especially Excel). Knowledge or experience with VBA, Python, R, Java, SQL, Reuters or Bloomberg are of advantage but not a must. You have a high affinity for securities trading and great interest in the capital markets. You are team-ready, you like to take the initiative and also draw your attention through motivation, flexibility, resilience and a high level of risk and responsibility. Very good German and good English skills complete your profile.
