IT-Administrator (m/w/d)

Roof Systems Germany GmbH develops and produces sliding roof systems as a system supplier for the automotive industry. At our site in Dietzenbach we offer exciting tasks.

First Touchpoint for all IT questions of employees at the site in Dietzenbach

Maintenance and support of local IT systems including servers, storage, networks, user endpoints and WLAN

Management of local Active-Directory objects, e.g. users, computers, security groups and access controls

Cooperation with the global IT team in system upgrades and projects

Monitoring and validation of backup systems

Ensuring local and cloud-based backups including documentation

Ensuring IT compliance requirements

Supporting the entire life cycle of IT devices from planning to decommissioning

Documentation of IT configurations, procedures, assets and network layouts

Complete vocational training (e.g. professional informatics) or studies in the field of IT or comparable qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in IT, of which 2 years in a comparable position as administrator

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Funded knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and active directories administration

Experience with VMware ESXi and cSphere environments, with SSH and PowerShell for system management and automation, as well as with Cisco network switches

Knowledge of the management of backup systems including regular validation

Experience with Linux systems and script creation of advantage

knowledge of Veeam, Barracuda or comparable cloud-based solutions of advantage
