Number: MER0003YAH Trade Compliance - Foreign Trade Law, headquartered in Stuttgart, is part of the Integrity, Governance & Sustainability (IL), where more than 1,000 employees worldwide accompany the business of Mercedes-Benz Group AG on the issues of law, integrity, sustainability, compliance and data protection. Our department makes a significant contribution to this, among other things, with the tasks 'Trade Compliance' and 'External Economic and Sanction Law'. For the support and implementation of projects within these areas of work, we are looking for a dedicated reinforcement in the context of a combination internship (Pflichtteil & volunteer part) for six months in full time at the Stuttgart/Untertürkheim site. Looking for a challenging, varied, highly topical and geopolitically exciting internship in a globally active company? You want to learn how compliance works, especially in terms of trade and sanction compliance? Do you want to actively contribute and gain experience in project management, communication, transformation activities and digitalization? These challenges include: Participation in the further development of our compliance program (e.g. optimization of processes, use of AI, design of rules)

Processing project-related tasks in an international environment

Information research, monitoring and preparation of international legal issues

Preparation of communication activities and training measures

Supporting our global business and compliance network

Working within the framework of operational compliance processes

The activity can begin from April 2026 (possibly also earlier).

Degree in law, economic law or economics with legal orientation or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinkability and rapid understanding

Ability to create/prepare texts

Self-responsible and independent work and willingness to address colleagues independently

Creativity and Interest in New

Interest in legal and compliance issues in an international, geopolitically exciting environment

Interest in digital tools, new developments and innovations
