As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The Competence Center IT-Security (CCITS) bundles the operational IT information and cyber security competencies with the task of embracing these security services and services cross-sectionally and across the globe. The CCITS acts as an internal contractor for the development and implementation of security solutions across the entire core value chain and is an operator for the associated security services.

The “Security Advisory Management” section supports the remaining areas of BWI in implementing Cyber Security Solutions and Cyber Security Architecture. Through the (further) development of technical standards, operational advice and the design of safety-relevant processes, this area makes a significant contribution to the implementation of the BWI's cyber security strategy.

Your profile:

• Completed study of (economic) informatics with a focus on IT security or a comparable qualification with several years of relevant professional experience
• At least 6 years of practical experience in the technical-operative field of IT security, especially in the design, integration, implementation and operation of complex security solutions
• Detectable successes in implementing security projects along the Plan Building Run Process
• Funded knowledge in: IT security architectures and technologies (zero-trust architectures, network, endpoint, cloud security etc.)
• Ownership of certifications in the field of technical information security such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or comparable qualifications that demonstrate IT security expertise at a high level
• proven experience in the integration of security solutions into complex system landscapes
• Ideally knowledge in the environment of the public sector (e.g. Bundeswehr) and experience in the field of safety-critical infrastructures
• Experience in consulting internal and external stakeholders on technical safety requirements and solutions
• High problem-solving, decision-making and enforcement in technically demanding environments
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Ready to travel (about 40%)

Your tasks:

• Discipline and professional leadership of a specialized team to implement the Cyber Security Architecture Frameworks and to implement Cyber Security Solutions
• Promoting knowledge transfer, methodological qualification and professional development of employees to ensure a powerful, future-oriented expert team
• deriving objectives in the medium-term strategy for the "Security Advisory Management" sub-area from the higher-level objectives, target images of the Security Solution Managmenet and customer requirements
• Designing the content-specific tasks and processes to ensure the best possible integration of Security Solutions according to TOM
• Support in implementing technical requirements, including operational transformation
• Implementation responsibility of the contractually agreed delivery and performance obligations based on the commissioning of the internal contracting entity
• Control ext. Subcontractors for specific projects in the implementation of Cyber Security Solutions
• Establishing and developing technical standards, processes and approach models
• Support and participation in IT security projects and product developments throughout the plan-build-run process
• Advice from customers to implement security requirements and derivation of technical requirements with focus on Cyber Security Solutions and Security Operations
