The software solutions and controls of our injection moulding machines are developed by ARBURG itself – this is rather unusual for a mechanical engineering company. Through the development of hardware and software, we bundle the entire know-how in the company and can thus provide the best possible solutions for our customers. And here you come into play: you provide (further) development and administration of software development tools (e.g. code analysis, version management, CI/CD pipelines). The design and maintenance of software projects around the machine control also belong to your area of responsibility (e.g. migration to GIT/CMake). In your new role, you actively influence the development environment. It is clear that you will keep in mind the long-term sustainability of your work. Together with the team, you set up workflow concepts and implement them. Your work is rounded off by the support of software developers in tool questions as well as the schools of colleagues on existing and new tools.

Complete study of computer science or a comparable degree As an alternative, a completed training as a specialist informant with several years of relevant professional experience First experience with IT systems, for example Knowledge in the field of network technology and servers First experience in providing and supporting development tools (GIT) in product software C# and Python programming skills Interest in new technologies as well as pleasure in cooperation and communication with software developers from different groups
