Engineer System Management Grid Operation – Energy Technology (m/f/d)

In a 10-month on-the-job and simulator training, we prepare you intensively for your new role as a system management engineer for operational network management (w/m/d) and certify you comprehensively. After successful certification, control and monitor our 380-/220-kV transmission network in the shift service and thus contribute to the success of the energy transition. You apply bottleneck management procedures and process network disruptions to ensure network security at any time. You are in close contact with partners within the control zone and neighbouring transmission system operators in Europe to coordinate network security together. In addition to your work in the shift service, you process special tasks within the system management to allow your operational experience to be incorporated into the further development of concepts. We invest in your education and training: After first experience in shiftwork, we offer you the opportunity to develop in the direction of conceptual work on processes and regulations.

You have a degree with a focus on electrical energy technology and are looking for a career start with a lot of responsibility from the start. Their understanding of complex technical and energy-economic relationships is excellent. You are a team player (w/m/d), have an extremely independent, proactive and flexible operation – and keep a cool head even in stress situations. You can master the German language at the native language level, the English language well – and in word and writing. You are ready to be certified in the company in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/1485 and do not have any red-green weaknesses (commission investigation for driving, tax and monitoring activities).
