Accountant (m/w/d) full-time

In order to further advance our growth and professionalise our financial processes, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced account holder (m/w/d) for our headquarters at the next possible time. In this newly created position you have the unique opportunity to significantly shape and build the area.

More than just numbers As an accountant (m/w/d), you are the financial conscience of our company and bear a high responsibility. You ensure the correct and timely mapping of all business incidents and develop our accounting processes Completion: Own-responsible production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB for our individual companies and the entire group. Current accounting: Ensuring the proper accounting of all business incidents (debitors, creditors, bank, property accounts) taking into account the industry-specific peculiarities of gastronomy (e.g. different sales tax rates, cash management, use of goods). Plant accounting: Management and maintenance of investment assets. Process optimization: Active participation, further development and optimization of our accounting processes, workflows and systems, in particular our digital accounting workflow (Billbox). Reporting & Analysis: Creation of business evaluations, ad hoc analyses and reporting as a basis for decision-making. Contact person: You are the central contact person for auditors, tax advisors and financial authorities and accompany audits. Payment: Monitoring and settlement of all payment transactions and support in liquidity planning

What you bring We are looking for a personality that not only convinces professionally, but also has the desire to actively shape and take responsibility Qualification: You have successfully completed a completed commercial training with further training on the account holder (IHK) or an economic study with a focus on accounting/taxation. Experience: You bring at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial or accounting. Ideally, you have already worked in a company with several locations, in the gastronomy/hotel industry or a tax consulting company. Competence: You are compliant with HGB and have a strong understanding of complex accounting structures. Knowledge of turnover tax law is obvious to you. IT-Affinity: A safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel, is a matter of course for you. You have ideally already worked with DATEV and a digital billing input system (e.g. Billbox). Personality: You are a proactive and shaping personality with a pronounced hand-on mentality. A high number affinity, analytical thinking and a structured, precise and self-responsive way of working. As a strong team player, you appreciate the close cooperation in the team and with external partners.
