The Competence Center Brücken & Ingenieurbauwerke is a full service provider for engineering services. The services are provided primarily for HPA's internal needs. The assignment is done by Service Level Agreements and is usually full. Completely means that operator responsibility is taken over in its entirety by ensuring the legally compliant operation. The premise is to ensure the availability of the buildings. The core tasks involved are the maintenance of buildings, the exercise of the obligation to provide traffic and the mapping of buildings in the relevant specialist systems (SIB-BW, Novalast, techn. Archive, static archive etc.).

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You conduct complex projects of building conservation in bridge construction – from the first idea to completion – and develop technical solutions in the interdisciplinary environment. Technical developments, new building materials, methods and digital systems evaluate you professionally and derive principles and standards for bridge construction. You are working on the further development of IT specialist systems, monitoring systems and digital platforms and bringing your expertise into working groups and disciplines. You develop independent, tax assessors and engineering offices and monitor performances in all performance phases. You coordinate coordination with stakeholders, authorities, internal bodies and external partners and ensure clear, transparent communication. You keep an eye on costs, dates and qualities, perform the project controlling and document the measures completely. You monitor the construction performances in terms of contract, quality and appointments and introduce necessary measures such as deficiencies or deadlines. You support plant management through data management, process definition and reporting.

You have a degree in civil engineering with a focus on constructive engineering or comparable skills and experience. Many years of experience in construction engineering, ideally in bridge construction, you have already gathered. Technical rules and regulations of bridge construction are guaranteed and apply them in the project everyday. Complex technical questions You analyze structured and develop robust solutions. You can work with engineering offices, experts, authorities and internal bodies safely and professionally. Negotiation skills, enforcement ability and a sovereign appearance are yours. You work independently, targeted and responsibly – even in projects with high visibility and importance. Teamability, communication strength and secure handling of digital systems complete your profile.
