Business Development Manager - Hybrid (m/f/d)

In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for an employee in the business development that opens up new business areas and actively drives their sales. Business Development Manager (m/w/d) - Hybrid As the face of Star Energy on the German market, you distribute our first-class services across the entire life cycle of solar parks – from EPC new building projects to long-term O&M services. As a strategic bridge between customer and technology team, you are looking for innovative concepts such as repowering, post-eEG solutions and battery storage for existing systems.

Take care of the acquisition of construction and planning services (EPC) for new build projects with investors and project developers You are responsible for the proactive distribution of operating and maintenance contracts (O&M) to ensure long-term service revenues You identify potentials for revamping and repowering in existing portfolios You are responsible for the economic evaluation and distribution of concepts for Battery Co-Location, Hybrid Systems and Post-EEG Strategies (e.g. PPA Models) You are analysing market trends for identifying and configuring necessary service extensions You take care of building and maintaining resilient relationships with asset managers, funds and municipal works in Germany You control the entire EPC and O&M contracts tender process You are responsible for coordination with the internal project team for the integration of technical detailed planning in marketable offers You conduct contract negotiations for complex EPC, O&M and service contracts until completion

You have a degree in economic engineering, renewable energies or business management with a strong technical understanding You already have at least 5 years of experience in sales or business development in the field of Utility Scale Solar (EPC /O&M) You bring a profound understanding of the German energy market, in particular the mechanisms for existing plants (post-EEG) and the technical requirements for storage integration with You have the ability to sell complex technical services as economic added value You have already gained experience in coordinating sales and technical back office (engineering) You have excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English You can rely on relevant experience in the contract negotiation and a good understanding of the related legal issues You have a valid license and willingness to travel within Germany as required
