IT Security Expert (m/f/d)

Control of IT security in highly complex projects: You are responsible for the security governance in demanding IT and transformation projects with a high degree of uncertainty and transfer regulatory, technical and organisational requirements into resilient security and decision structures. Risk-oriented security architecture: You evaluate and control IT security risks at architecture, platform and service level and prioritise actions according to effectiveness, risk and economy, regardless of the classic ISMS operation. Professional control of central security capabilities: You control security-critical services (e.g. SIEM, Vulnerability & Incident Management, Cloud Security) and external providers via clear governance, KPI and escalation mechanisms. Sparring & decision preparation: You advise IT, departments and management, moderate security decisions with unclear knowledge and anchor Security by Design in projects and changes.

Complete university studies (informatics, business informatics, IT security, etc.) or a comparable qualification. Multiannual experience in strategic-operative IT security roles, ideally in complex, regulated or critical IT environments. Deep understanding of IT architectures, cloud/platform models and security governance, combined with the ability to effectively control risks – not just document. Experience in the professional management of security services and service providers as well as working with KPIs, risk and decision models. Safety in handling regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA, BAIT, MaRisk, ISO 27001) at the implementation and control level. Embossed consulting, moderation and decision-making skills, especially in situations with incomplete information and high expectations.
