Type of contract: Limited Type of employment: Full-time Application until: 31.05.2026 The position is to be taken as a combination in the areas of Huntington ambulance under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Landwehrmeyer and the interdisciplinary neurooncological ambulance, head of neurology by Ms. PD Dr. Rebecca Kassubek.

The Huntington ambulance of the University Hospital offers people with the Huntington-typical genetic modification – with and without symptoms – as well as their families as comprehensive care as possible. In addition to clinical care, there are a variety of possibilities for clinical research. The ambulance is connected to the European Huntington network (EHDN). The network is an association of doctors, scientists, therapists and self-help groups within Europe with the aim of exploring Huntington's disease and being able to treat it better in the future. The central coordination of the network is at the University Hospital Ulm and is led by Professor Dr. Landwehrmeyer.

The interdisciplinary neurooncological ambulance is carried out in neurology in cooperation with the Department of Internal III – Hematology and Oncology. Patients with brain tumours are primarily treated here. The focus is on the implementation of tumour-specific system therapies and the coordination of other therapeutic measures, such as operations and radiotherapy, as well as regular flow control. In addition to cooperation with the Department of Hematology and Oncology, there is close cooperation with the Department of Radiooncology and the Department of Neurosurgery. In the context of the interdisciplinary neurooncological tumor board, the courses and corresponding adaptations of the therapies of the patients are discussed interdisciplinary weekly. In addition, 14-day participation in the molecular and family tumor board for the planning of individualized therapy options is carried out on the basis of specific molecular changes in the tumor tissue.
