University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in the Medical Clinic and Polyclinic III - Endocrinology/Diabetology, Geriatrie or Rheumatology

As of 1 November 2026, full or part-time employment for the duration of training should be fixed for 5 years. Remuneration is carried out in accordance with the classification rules of the respective domestic collective agreement Medical staff and is possible in the event of the personal condition in the group A1.

Your tasks:

• Medical care: Medical activity on stations and ambulances of the Medical Clinic III and the Centre for Internal Medicine
• Teaching: Work as a tutor*in in student training, implementation of station teaching visas, organization and implementation of internships of internal medicine, guidance of PJ students
• Science: Establishing own scientific projects in the field of internal medicine and cooperation in clinical trials

Your profile:

• Successfully completed study of human medicine with successful approval (German recognition for foreign degrees must be available
• Wide expertise in the fields of internal medicine
• High interest in particular in the areas of geriatric, endocrinology, diabetics, lipidology or rheumatology
• Strong communication capability at eye level in the interdisciplinary team and in stress situations
• readiness for scientific work and interest in own research work
• Structured, self-contained and conscientious working
