Service Manager IT Workstation (m/w/d)

The trade association Holz und Metall (BGHM) is one of the largest providers of statutory accident insurance in Germany. We take over insurance cover for around 5 million insured persons in more than 248,000 companies in both industries. Our aim is to help people who are endangered by working conditions or affected by accidents or occupational diseases. The IT organizations of the BGHM and the VBG work in a joint operation (NOVA). The NOVA has the right to use current technologies in a safe and timely manner and to continuously develop and adapt IT solutions. The focus is on the development of our own application systems as well as the adaptation and integration of various standard software products. Short decision-making, independent work and a good working atmosphere characterize the NOVA and lead the work in interdisciplinary teams to a common success. The IT workstation is offered to the BGHM, the VBG and cooperation partners as a service and is responsible for application systems in the department. In addition to providing workstation hardware, the service also includes printing, telephony, mail, intranet, shopping cart and service desk. To strengthen our NOVA application systems division, we are looking for you at the locations Mainz, Hannover or Hamburg.

As a central contact person for our cooperation partners, departments and IT coordination bodies, you take over the key account management in the area of “IT workstation” for strategic cooperation partner support and integration. You accompany the IT requirement management process with regard to the acceptance, evaluation and prioritization of new requirements, control them across the field and conduct central meetings at the operational level. Knowledge transfer is yours? You organize and carry out training for users. Disorders and problems are coordinated and re-processed by an efficient incident management. Service and quality are also important to you? Conduct quality assurance measures, measure quality and efficiency on the basis of KPIs and establish a reporting system for full support.

Including completed university studies (Bachelor, FH Diploma) Multiannual professional experience in the IT environment Experience in managing IT projects Experiences in IT service management are advantageous Analytical and conceptual skills as well as rapid understanding and high problem solving competence Embossed communication and team skills Very good German in word and writing (at least language level C1 of the GER) Willingness to attend on-site service trips

An indefinite employment contract with the BGHM in full time, the possibility for parttime is basically given and is examined if appropriate applications are available. Payment by payment group 11 BG-AT plus a full 13.
