We are looking for you as a specialist:in Accounting & Controlling (w/m/d) for our location in Wiedemar. As an analytical and responsible personality, you combine sophisticated commercial expertise with a close consultation and coordination function with the Heads of Division and the management of a medium-sized subsidiary of the Mercedes-Benz Group. You act as a professionally versed interface between operational accounting and controlling in the smooth and timely creation of the monthly and annual accounts, including ensuring proper accounting. In addition, you play an active role in the internal control system (IKS) and ensure the control of effective outcome planning including control. You have the pleasure of having everything in mind from the individual process step to the whole? In doing so, even proactively controlling the commercial processes and shaping the IT-systemic implementation and further development? Then you are right with us! These challenges come to you: In cooperation with business partners (e.g. Shared Service Center), you will ensure the smooth operating booking business, including confirmation, clarification of differences and processing of special operating cases. You play a key role in the smooth and timely creation of the monthly and annual accounts (HGB/IFRS) with the guarantee of proper accounting, prepare audit documents in consultation with the auditor and assist in inventory and assessment issues. You act as an important commercial interface to the operating areas of the company and support the management of the business with analyses, reports and ad hoc evaluations, as well as the significant participation in outcome planning and controlling. Your innovation joy and readiness for changes are actively demonstrating in the initiation and implementation of measures and projects for process optimization, in particular with the focus on the further development and modernisation of IT systems/applications. You carry out actively defined IKS controls in the accounting environment, document their results and support the further development of control processes.

Ideally qualify for this job: Successfully completed economic studies or a comparable qualification (e.g. balance sheet holder:in). Multiannual professional experience in operational accounting and well-founded practical experience in the monthly and annual accounts. Very good knowledge of HGB, ideally first contact points with IFRS. Secure handling of accounting-relevant IT systems (e.g. SAP environment, S/4HANA, BI systems, understanding of databases and systems). High sense of responsibility and structured and reliable functioning. Special curiosity and analytical strengths. Learning and very good communication skills. Strong team orientation at the same time with high autonomy.
