With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans. Our department is responsible for logistics planning for various powertrain locations (engines, axles, gearboxes, batteries, etc.) including inbound planning for the associated components. Under the End to End Thought we are planning new works and projects with the aim of implementing efficient logistics from the supplier to our powertrain locations to the end customers.

In the Team Intralogistics Planning Battery, we plan and manage the intra- & outbound logistics processes of our international battery production sites in the Powertrain production network. The future of mobility is electric and we actively participate in the transformation process. We are looking for you: a dedicated student in our highly motivated team with colleagues who are looking forward to your support. We are there for each other, work with enthusiasm in our projects and always have a common goal in mind. You can of course work hybrid with us and will take responsibility for your own tasks during the internship.

These challenges come to you: Planning complex logistics processes and methods for existing and new works Working in strategic material flow projects and developing existing logistics processes at different locations Planning and active participation in cross-border workshops including process and outcome documentation Coordination and coordination with our business partners as well as various interfaces to operational logistics areas Knowing the existing battery productions Creation of tender documents for various awards

Course in Logistics, Production, Engineering or Comparative Studies, in combination with Digitalization First experience in the automotive industry (logistics, supply chain management, lean management) desirable Enthusiasm, commitment, pioneering spirit, fun and interest in cross-departmental project management in team work Excellent contact and communication skills Analytical thinking and targeted and self-responsible work Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Secure handling of M365/MS Office (in particular Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Loop, Planner)
