Information Security Management Coordinator (m/f/d)

The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is the largest hospital in the Middle Rhine region. It is shown in the hospital plan of the state of Baden-Württemberg as a house of maximum care for the region and the teaching hospital of the University of Freiburg. Day by day and around the clock, more than 4,900 qualified employees ensure the care of patients.

The Information Security Management function is based on the management of the Infrastructure division in the Central Services division and has a direct line of reporting to the management. The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe (SKK) is a critical infrastructure and is subject to high information security requirements. You support the external Information Security Officer (ISB) in the clinical development and coordination of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in close cooperation with the technical, administrative and clinical areas of the SKK. We are looking for a coordinator/in Information Security Management (m/w/d) in full time at the next time possible.

Together with the external ISB of the clinic, you coordinate and develop the information security management system in cooperation with IT, medical technology, data protection and other relevant internal areas from administration and clinic. You form the interface between hospital-internal organisational units and external ISB and coordinate their activities with You support the ISB in analyzing, evaluating and controlling information security-relevant aspects as well as in the introduction of new technologies, new processes and projects within the scope You cooperate with the creation of performance directories to ensure, together with the ISB, the best possible requirements for information security in procurement processes You support the ISB in the further development of the information security concept You support the ISB in analyzing security incidents and coordinate between ISB, external forums and internal stakeholders Together with the ISB, you plan and conduct internal and external audits, risk analyses and safety assessments at regular intervals – in particular the legal evidence on information security – and report the results of the competent supervisory authority and management Together with the ISB, you support the management and internal departments in information security-relevant issues You support internal organisational units in the development of technical and organisational measures for information security Together with the ISB and the internal areas involved, you coordinate the statutory and timely evaluation and reporting of security incidents to the supervisory authority You work closely with crisis management, business continuity management (BCM) and technical, administrative and clinical areas

Multiannual professional experience in building and developing governance and management structures in the field of information security – ideally in the hospital University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or Information Technology Impressed communication skills and experience in cross-disciplinary cooperation Funded industry-specific knowledge of legal requirements and safety standards of information security Certifications in the field of information security (e.g. BSI Grundschutz, ISO 27001, TISP) Basic knowledge of data protection Funded technical knowledge in network and security technologies Flowing German knowledge (at least level C2)
