Mechanic (m/f/d)

Your reliable partner for sustainable and efficient inland waterway transport of liquid petrochemical and chemical mass goods on European inland waterways. In order to support our team, we are looking for Mechanics (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d).

You enter diesel engines of all well-known manufacturers from 20 to 1,500 kW (including MITSUBISHI, CATERPILLAR, ABC, JOHN DEERE, JCB, DEUTZ/MWM, MAN). You change injection valves, adjust valves, clean turbochargers and charge air coolers, change cylinder heads, pull bushings, work on control systems, pumps, gearboxes, compressors and much more. You work on board the ships. Your locations change daily within the day's pendulum area. You work closely with the electric team (installation of engines, generators and pumps).

Completed training for industrial mechanic / engine repairer / agricultural machine mechanic / truck / commercial vehicle / car mechanic (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) or the like. Professional experience, ideally in the inland tanker industry Sovereign handling of pipes and pipes (water, oil, fuel, hydraulics, pneumatics), systems GF, Ermeto, Cu press, composite pipe, Serdo, hydraulic/pneumatic systems and hoists High self-initiative and a structured and independent way of working Basic skills in metal processing (welding technology of advantage)
