You are responsible for the constant maintenance of our rail network and our track systems Here you weld the rails, complete the gapless track and make the all-round package of DB Bahnbau Group GmbH perfect arc-hand welding, thermit welding work and cutting work are carried out independently after the completed courses With your colleague: you work outdoors, but also much at night (because the tracks are less traveling), as well as weekends and holidays Dealing with state-of-the-art machines and a variety of building materials is your everyday work

Your profile:

You have successfully completed your training in metal processing (e.g. as a metal manufacturer:in, track manufacturer:in, welding specialist:in or in a comparable profession) Ideally, you also have professional and welding experience and are used to work on construction sites To achieve internal qualification, you bring commitment and readiness to learn The willingness to the shift service (night, weekend and holiday work) as well as to work outdoors will bring you with you, and you will also be ready to go to assembly for weeks (depending on the construction site also over the weekend) You work reliably and like to work with your colleagues: You bring a valid class B driver's license, it would also be desirable to purchase the truck driver's license (C, C1, CE, C1E), alternatively the willingness to purchase it.
