As an expert, we cover a wide range of material groups, including logistics and transport, production facilities, energy, construction services, IT, marketing and events, as well as many others. Digital and automated processes ensure that we become more efficient and effective. The newly established Digital Procurement Lab is intended to bundle and coordinate all digitization and automation activities in indirect purchasing. A use case related development of solutions together with the operating purchasing areas is intended to ensure that the solutions developed in small sprint and prototype phases can be quickly implemented and the associated efficiency gains can be realized in the short term. Our philosophy is: Simple processes can be automated more easily, good data form the basis for digitization and an “on-the-job-approach” helps us to grasp the challenges at the root. THE WORK Development and introduction of methods and processes for identifying and evaluating use cases for digital and automated applications together with future users:inside Cooperation in the development and implementation of a “Digital Roadmap” and identification of the required tools and process optimizations Strategic cooperation in the introduction of new tools and purchasing systems, from idea development to piloting and implementation, as well as the associated change management at end users: Support in planning, control and coordination of prototyping phases and the subsequent implementation of digital and automated solutions in close coordination with operational purchasing Scouting and evaluation of innovative solutions available on the market for the digitization of purchasing Support in the creation of decision-making templates and presentation in different bodies
