The Customs & Export Control (FSZ) area is responsible for the proper handling of all external trade-related processes. This means that the area must enable modern and logistically efficient import/export processing by means of various regulatory approvals and simplifications. In addition, the area ensures that legal requirements and requirements in external trade are taken into account and opportunities are used by the use of free trade agreements.

Totally responsible control and safeguarding the export control classification of physical goods (LKW, Bus, Components) as well as (vehicle) software and technology along the product development process using the relevant regulations (export list, dual-use regulation, statistical inventory of goods, embargo regulations. EU Customs Code)

Definition, implementation and continuous development of company-wide standards, guidelines and processes for product classification and classification

Special responsibility for the correct and audit-proof mapping of export control data. Classification and classification data in IT systems (e.g. SAP, MIC)

Control and quality assurance of the evaluation of new development projects for physical goods, technology and software, as well as ensuring consistent application of classification and export control requirements

Central specialist contact person and Sparring partner for specialist areas and management in all questions of product classification and classification with high decision-making competence

Conception, control and implementation of training and training measures including the development and application of standard templates for product classification

Active cooperation and further development of export control, including identification and minimisation of compliance risks beyond product classification and classification, e.g. audit of business projects related to the applicable embargo regulations

Successfully completed studies in the field of automotive engineering or comparable qualifications or completed vocational training with relevant multiannual professional experience (min. 5 years) in the field of external economics / export control or vehicle engineering

Knowledge of export control law (e.g. dual use, embargoes), tariff classification / classification of advantage

Technical understanding in the field of commercial vehicles and/or mechanical engineering and affinity for software development

Experience in dealing with SAP systems, in particular SAP GTS

Analytical, structured and solution-oriented methods and conceptual strength

High self-responsibility, decision-making and flexibility to adapt to changing regulatory requirements, tasks and organisational frameworks and to actively shape them

Good knowledge of English at least B1-Level
