IT/OT Embedded Engineer (m/w/d)

The Schwarz IT supports the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions of the companies of the Schwarz Group. It is therefore responsible for selecting, providing and operating as well as further developing IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up the requirements of the departments in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

You are the key link between IT and OT. Your main task is the secure and performant integration of hardware and software in our industrial and logistics systems. We woke up your interest? Then you like to apply throughout Germany.

You develop and define standards and architecture requirements in the industrial environment You evaluate and integrate new technologies, hardware platforms and operating systems You will take care of the adjustment of kernel, driver and system configurations You perform security (Hardening) and patch management for our embedded devices You support project teams from different locations in the selection, integration and protection of gateways, sensors and controllers in the industrial architecture You offer technical support and expertise in complex retrofit projects

You have a completed technical study or training in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable orientation You solve problems analytically and systematically and quickly capture technical dependencies as well as complex configurations You work self-organized and manage multiple tasks and systems independently You bring sound knowledge of embedded programming, driver development and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Profinet) with Deep Linux knowledge, ideally with Kernel-Addons/Modules (TalosOS) and experience with RTOS. Know-how in firmware curing, patch management and vulnerability scans. .
