Medical Informatics Specialist Clinical Information / Subsystems

The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is the largest hospital in the Middle Rhine region. It is shown in the health care plan of the state of Baden-Württemberg as a house of maximum care for the region and apprenticeship hospital of the University of Freiburg. During the day and around the clock, more than 4,900 qualified employees provide care for patients. For the Infrastructure / Information Technology Division, we are looking for a medical informantin full-time clinical information/subsystems with 39 hours per week for the next time. The Information Technology Department is divided into the four areas of IT applications, IT services, IT infrastructure and IT security and consists of a total of more than 40 employees. The department ensures the smooth running of the entire information technology of all 27 clinics and institutes with around 4,700 PCs, 1,000 servers and its own data center operation. As a medical informantin, you work in the team of IT applications in a pleasant atmosphere on the campus of the clinic.

Working with the team to support and further develop the clinical information/subsystems we use in the house. In the case of new installations, the IT subproject management may be in cooperation with the overall project management and the subproject lines of the medical departments.

A study of medical informatics or equivalent training with professional experience in healthcare or related areas Knowledge in the care and administration of clinical information/subsystems and knowledge of the functioning of interfaces are advantageous. Experience in dealing with the IT products used in the Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is no compelling prerequisite for your application The ability to transfer non-technical requirements into the IT world and to impart technological aspects to the internal customer in everyday language On the will to do your work and its results for the 1st and 2nd levels of support and to exchange closely with your colleagues
