Head of Legal and Strategic Projects (m/f/d)

General management of the law and strategic projects division Direct line of report to the Chairman of the Board and active participation of Association Strategy Strategic and operational Result Responsibility for the Business Area (Objectives, Priorities, Resources, Processes, Quality) incl. Continuous Development of the Construction and Process Organisation, including Change Management Leadership of employees in the departments of real estate and law / member care / complaint about a multi-level management structure Strategic control of central cross-sectional areas: binding guidelines and standards for legal work, the relationship between members and the complaint and ensuring legal, reliable and service-oriented performance of tasks Legal overall responsibility: Advising the Executive Board in legal and strategic issues; Design of legal frameworks and representation of interests in legislative and basic procedures Head of strategic projects, in particular transfer of municipal channel networks end-to-end – from contact and negotiation to control time, quality and risks up to internal/external interface coordination and decision-ready preparation for board and committees Membership orientation and external representation: Strengthening the interface with members, creating clear contact structures and identifying and initiating cooperation on sustainable development of the association areas Total responsibility for real estate / property affairs, especially further development of the strategic area management of the associations

Completed legal higher education (full-time or comparable) Multiannual professional and detectable leadership experience in complex organisations (e.g. association, public administration, municipal environment, infrastructure/suppliers, firm/enterprise with strong public-sector reference) – ideally multi-stage management and control of larger units Representative competence in governance, risk management and decision-making for Executive Board/Gremien (legal, economic, strategic) experience in negotiation with members/communists/authorities and in challenging stakeholder constellations; sovereign occurrence and enforcement while at the same time high cooperation capacity Very good project management and control competence for strategic projects (complex, time-critical, interdisciplinary), incl. structuring and interface management Leadership with clear attitude: binding, decision-making, integrating; Ability to develop large teams and make change effective High service and membership orientation, at the same time consistent respect for the interests of the organisation; very good communication capability in word and Schrif
