Network Engineer (m/f/d)

You continue to operate and develop a stable, secure and scalable global network landscape (LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, SD-WAN). You monitor the network environment proactively, analyze performance and capacities and ensure smooth operation. You analyze malfunctions, efficiently correct network incidents and ensure a quick recovery of the services. You configure, manage and modernise the network and security infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls and WiFi. You implement a holistic network security architecture and care for it. You work in global IT projects, tax external service providers and advise IT management on architecture, risks and further development.

Multiannual experience in operating corporate networks (LAN, WLAN, VPN, location connections). Complete study in the IT field or completed IT training or comparable qualification. Safe handling of basic network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls. Understanding IT security in the network environment (e.g. secure configurations, firewall rules, access models). Ability to structure fault analysis and use of monitoring tools. Analytical thinking and high problem-solving competence. Good communication capability – also against non-technical stakeholders. Teamability in interaction with other IT areas and external partners. Self-conscient, responsible operation. Project-related travel readiness. Very good knowledge of German and English.
