Maintenance Engineer - Railway Industry (ECM2) (m/f/d)
As a CAF, we are an internationally leading provider of sustainable mobility solutions in rail transport. We are currently in the mobilization phase of our long-term maintenance project for the Rhein-Ruhr transport network (VRR), in which we are currently building two state-of-the-art workshops to maintain our BEMU fleet in Gelsenkirchen and Neubeckum. In this role as ECM 2, you develop and optimise modern maintenance programs for rail vehicles - technically sound, compliant, efficient and forward-looking. Development, maintenance and optimization of maintenance programs according to ECM Regulation Assessment and verification of changes to the maintenance plan according to CSM‐VO Analysis of technical systems and derivation of efficient maintenance strategies Implementation of risk and vulnerability analyses Close cooperation with engineering, operation, quality assurance & external partners Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, standards & technical standards (e.g. DIN 27200ff., VO (EU) 2019/779, DIN EN 17018, DIN EN 17023) Documentation and Processing of Technical Content for Internal/External StakeholderSupport in Audits, Authorisation Processes & Technical Reviews Use of modern IT tools & diagnostic systems for data-based further development Continuous improvement in the sense of safe, economic and sustainable fleet strategies
At least 3 years of experience in the development of maintenance programmes for rail vehicles Experience in the application of the CSM-VO (evaluation of changes to the maintenance plan) Knowledge of relevant standards & standards (DIN 27200ff., VO (EU) 2019/779, DIN EN 17018, DIN EN 17023) Complete technical studies (engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, rail vehicle technology) Safe handling of MS Office and modern technical tools flowing knowledge of German, good knowledge of English (B1); (Spanish by advantage) Knowledge or qualification in DIN EN 15085, DIN 17460 or DIN EN ISO 9712 desirable Strong analytical skills, structured working methods & communicative competence

As a central interface between technology, operation and regulatorics, you work closely with our Spanish headquarters and international experts and make an active contribution to the sustainability of modern rail vehicles.
