Team Leader Quality Control / Laboratory (m/f/d)

As a team management quality control/laborator (m/w/d), you will ensure the quality assurance of the product portfolio at the Lüneburg production site and be responsible for the organization of the laboratory. Your task is to guide the laboratory team with 5 employees professionally and disciplinaryly, including all the requirements for safety at work, and to take measures for the personal and professional training of your employees. You are responsible for monitoring the test equipment, sending samples, as well as the planning and organisation of external analyses. In addition, you will accompany production tests from QS sight. You will also develop standards and test plans for the laboratory, in particular with regard to the correct performance of sampling, their analysis and evaluation. In order to fulfil all of the above tasks, you have the power to block or not release goods and to request appropriate measures to remedy defects. You contribute to the further development of the QM system of the site, and ensure compliance with it, among other things, by supporting the planning and implementation of internal and external audits. You represent the QM leadership of the site in case of absence and support your team actively with bottlenecks.

You have completed vocational training or completed studies in dairy, food chemistry or food technology, or a comparable qualification. In addition, you have at least three years of professional experience in quality assurance / laboratory in the food sector and can provide expert knowledge in your area. Ideally, you could already gain first leadership experience. Good communication skills, enforcing ability and conflictability are just as well as a pronounced problem-solving competence. Their knowledge of German is reliable in word and writing, good knowledge of English is desirable.
