Head of the DRK Educational and Family Counselling (m/f/d)

The DRK represents the worldwide Red Cross and Red Crescent movement. As part of this movement, the DRK Südwest gGmbH is particularly active in welfare care and provides social work in various districts for people with disabilities as well as child, youth, family and senior work. For the DRK Education and Family Consulting in Steglitz-Zehlendorf we are now looking for a dedicated lead (m/w/d) in full time (38,5 hours/week). Our education and family advice is a free offer for parents and guardians as well as children and young people.

Motivating leadership of a committed multi-professional 10-member team Further development of consulting services, business management and quality advice for families in different situations Coordination of case work, prevention programs and parental advice Presentation of key figures, reporting to supporters and funding providers Staff management and development as well as personnel selection and planning Cooperation with public services and institutions as well as forum and network work

A completed study of pedagogy, social work, psychology or comparable studies (Diplom or Master) Completed (or advanced) training in systemic therapy or family advice or child and youth psychotherapy Multiannual management experience in the field of family assistance, educational assistance, youth assistance or psychosocial counselling Business understanding and joy in the economic management of a consultancy Legal knowledge: child and youth assistance, data protection, confidentiality, supervisory law; Knowledge of the principles of integration aid Knowledge of the Berlin social assistance system, funding instruments, quality management, evaluation and reporting Communication strength and joy in the representation of our EFB willingness to design in local, inclusive child, youth and family work Empathy, willingness to compromise and cooperation as well as enforcing and joy in work Evaluating and encouraging leadership of the team Efficiency, innovation joy and commitment Safe in handling MS-Office and willingness to work into internal computer programs
