Technical Project Manager for Software Development Projects (m/f/d)

You assume the technical responsibility for customer projects in the field of software for civil aviation. You control the technical implementation of requirements with development, project management and customers. You actively shape architecture, design and technical realization. You conduct interdisciplinary teams professionally through all project phases. You advise customers on the optimal use of software solutions and are technical partners in the project. You ensure that projects are implemented reliably in the budget as well as time frames, customer-oriented and with high quality standards.

You bring a completed study or technical training in the field of computer science, software development or a comparable field of expertise. You have already collected at least two years of experience in the technical implementation or control of software projects. You know well with Linux, Windows and version management systems. You have experience in object-oriented software development – ideally with C++ and Java. You work independently, structured and with a clear view for pragmatic solutions. You convince by team spirit, customer orientation and a professional appearance. You communicate safely in German and English – both in writing and oral. Occasionally international travels of about 2–3 % can be seen as a welcome change. It is also an advantage: knowledge in the field of software architecture and modern CI/CD pipelines are a valuable addition, experience in the professional customer environment as well as in the professional leadership of small teams, experience from aviation, projects close to air traffic management, or from other regulated technical environments.
